The speech of a wolf

If a wolf could talk what would she say?

Oh Humanity, if she could talk to us
Come out of the mountains

On soft big paws

over snow

She would say nothing

If a wolf could talk
What would she say?

We could not understand her

Or could we?

Do we not love our children?

our place?

Our mate?

Do we not sing.....

for camaraderie
with family
for joy
in the soft moonlight

on mountains bright and sharp
